Nicholas Karavatos, performance poet and writing teacher in Dubai, will read at the Thursday, September 9 Fallbrook's Writers Read. The free monthly readings are hosted by Cafe des Artistes, 103 S. Main Street. Doors open at 5:30 and the featured author begins at 6, followed by open mic. The public is invited to bring original poetry or prose to share during open mic.
