Five artists will once again hit the walls of Pinnell Gallery in downtown Fallbrook to present their latest visions at the 5th annual ArtSpeaks art show. Artists Marj Linton and Carrie Repking will exhibit works from the world of horticulture. Linton and Repking, each well-known California painters, have a mysterious take on the plant world. Neil Ketchum is painting and printing wild horses for the show and is donating one of her horse paintings to Falcon Ridge Equine Rescue in Valley Center through a silent auction during the show's run. RoseAnne Sobkow, a printmaker and painter, will bring her insights of big cats. Sobkow has long been fascinated by the cat and alarmed by their precarious, future existence. Nan Bushley will grace the show with woodturnings. Bushley has taught and turned for years and her works range from abstract wood sculpture to fine utilitarian pieces. Pinnell Gallery, 240 N. Main Avenue, Fallbrook, is open Tuesday through Saturday 10 am to 4 pm Hisses, Hooves and Horticulture will show through September 16.
